Tipperah Kingdom

The term 'Tipperah'  is having the same connotation wth the term 'Tipra' which is presently known as Tripura since 1920 AD. Ironically, the principal term of Kokborok was sanskritized distorting the term Tipperah or Tipra. The term Tipperah or Tipra is more appropriate than Tripura or Tripuri. The name of the Sate had become Tripura and the Tiprasas had become Tripuris in lieu of Tipperah and Tipras respectively. This was a kind of process of being Indianization of Tipras. Indianization can done even by retaining their original name of the State which was Tipperah or Tipra. There is no vis on the issue.
Secondly, there is, perhaps,  no event in the world the refugees of East Bengal (which became East Pakistan and presently Bangladesh) was a product and result of the partition of India engulfed the population of Tripura State - a small state in India in to microscopic minority and presently they are on the edge of extinction. The refugees is the product of persecution and insecurity who deserve to be sheltered on humanitarian ground but they should have been settled all over India keeping the interest of the sons of the soils in Tippera/ Tripura. But it was not done and the sons of the soils were marginalised to extict.
